Selling a football academy to the parent, not the player
313 Football Academy is Pakistan's first football academy that blends professional training with character building. It has trained over 900 young athletes across five branches since 2017. The child wants to play; the parent decides, pays and drives them there every week.
The situation at the start
Two audiences, and only one of them pays.
A football academy site is looked at by a child who wants to play and a parent who is evaluating a recurring commitment of money, weekends and driving. Those are completely different sales. Action photography and energy win the child; the parent is quietly checking whether the coaching is qualified, whether the environment is safe, and whether their child will come back better in ways that outlast football.
The academy's real differentiator was character building alongside training, which is exactly what the parent is buying and exactly the kind of claim that is easy to state and hard to make believable.
Client-supplied programme figures, presented as given. Scope agreed at kickoff.
The approach
Four workstreams,
one engine.
Each stream existed to make the others measurable. Nothing here was run in isolation.
Energy for the child, evidence for the parent
The page has to work at two reading depths at once.
- Action photography and momentum in the hero for immediate appeal
- Concrete figures directly beneath for the evaluating parent
- Character-building positioning stated early, not buried in About
- Membership route present from the first screen
Numbers instead of adjectives
Every claim a parent cares about is given a figure.
- 900+ young athletes trained, since 2017
- Five active branches, so location is answerable immediately
- 14+ coaching staff, addressing supervision and quality
- Parent reviews surfaced on the page rather than a separate silo
Answer the practical questions
Enrolment decisions stall on logistics, not on inspiration.
- Branch information so a parent can find their nearest
- Programme and service pages explaining what training involves
- Coaching team presented as named people
- A membership path that is reachable from anywhere on the site
Fast, bold and mobile-first
Most parents will first see this on a phone, shared by another parent.
- Mobile-first responsive build
- Compressed action photography that stays sharp without stalling load
- SportsActivityLocation and Organisation structured data
- Semantic structure with accessible contrast over photography
The results
A site that convinces the person holding the wallet.
The delivered site opens with the energy that appeals to a young player, then immediately answers the parent's questions with figures rather than adjectives: 900+ athletes trained, five branches, 14+ coaching staff, operating since 2017.
The character-building positioning that differentiates the academy is stated in the opening section rather than left to an About page, and parent reviews are surfaced on the page itself, where the doubt occurs.

Key takeaways
What made
the difference.
- 1Identify who actually pays
For youth sport the buyer and the user are different people. Designing for only the user loses the sale.
- 2Replace adjectives with counts
“Experienced coaching” is unverifiable. “14+ coaching staff” can be checked, which is why it persuades.
- 3Logistics are part of the pitch
Branch locations answer the practical question that otherwise ends the enquiry.
- 4Put the differentiator in the first screen
Character building was the reason to choose this academy, so it could not wait until the About page.
