Local SEO · Orthodontic clinic, Islamabad
Winning the map, then the whole country
Teeth Aligners is an orthodontic practice in Islamabad specialising in clear aligners and invisible braces. Local search is a two-part game: the map pack decides who gets called today, and organic decides who gets found from everywhere else. We built for both.
The situation at the start
Two searches, two different battles.
For a clinic, a search like “invisible braces near me” is decided in the map pack, where proximity, profile completeness and review quality do most of the work. A search like “teeth aligners in Gilgit” is decided in classic organic, where the winner is whoever has an actual page about it.
The practice was under-represented in both, and treating them as one problem would have solved neither.
Google Business Profile and live SERP verification on tracked treatment queries.
The approach
Four workstreams,
one engine.
Each stream existed to make the others measurable. Nothing here was run in isolation.
The asset that decides the map pack
The business profile is a ranking surface, so it was treated like one.
- Categories, services and attributes completed accurately
- Treatment-led descriptions matching real search language
- Photography and service imagery kept current
- Hours, location and contact consistency across the web
Rating as a ranking and conversion signal
Reviews move both the map ranking and the decision to call.
- A consistent, compliant request process after treatment
- Every review responded to, positive or otherwise
- Review language monitored for the treatments patients name
- Five-star average maintained across verified reviews
One page per thing you actually do
Aligners, invisible braces and retainers are different searches.
- Dedicated pages per treatment with real clinical detail
- Cost and process questions answered directly on the page
- FAQ and Service structured data per treatment
- Clear booking paths from every treatment page
Reaching patients outside the capital
Specialist treatment travels further than routine dentistry.
- City-level pages for markets that search and travel for care
- Genuinely local content rather than swapped city names
- Internal linking from treatments into city coverage
- Coverage extended as far as Gilgit in the north
The results
Present where the decision is made.
The practice holds a 5.0 star average across 16 verified Google reviews and appears in the map presence for its core treatment queries in Islamabad, which is the surface that decides same-day enquiries.
Beyond the capital, treatment and city pages now rank for aligner searches in other markets, including as far north as Gilgit. For a specialist practice this matters more than it would for routine dentistry, because patients will travel for clear aligner treatment when they can find a practice that clearly does it.

Rating and review counts from the practice's Google Business Profile at time of capture. Contact details have been cropped from the screenshot. Map results vary by searcher location.
Key takeaways
What made
the difference.
- 1The map pack and organic are separate wins
Proximity and profile decide one, content and structure decide the other. A single strategy for both under-serves each.
- 2Reviews are infrastructure
A five-star average is not vanity, it is one of the strongest levers on both map ranking and the decision to call.
- 3Specialists can rank outside their city
Patients travel for elective treatment, so city pages beyond the home market are legitimate demand, not padding.
- 4One page per treatment, again
The clinic sells distinct treatments and each one is searched for differently.
